Verdict

Lat Hawill has been aimed high this year with failed attempts in the Greenham and the French 2000 Guineas and has to give plenty of weight to BAAREZ on his handicap debut. The latter returns to action after winning a maiden in soft ground at Haydock in October and better things are expected of him this year. Wannabe Yours scored on fast ground at Nottingham, as did Cape Icon, but both have a bit to prove on this surface. Braidley and Azagal are both course winners with the latter preferred off her current mark.
