    Verdict

JUNIOR will never be bombproof but his trainer could not have found a better opportunity and he is selected ahead of Silver Bay. Officially rated 131, the selection ran a decent race when third to Latanier at Ffos Las recently. Considering the jockeys fell asleep and allowed Latanier an easy lead, that was a pretty good effort and his class really should see him win this bar a fall. Oscar Owen is a poor hurdler who has his second run over fences today, Allterrain ran in a good race at Plumpton on his chasing bow but was beaten out of sight and hasn't been seen since, whilst Greenandredparson is a former point-to-point winner who should find this as tough as when facing Burton Port last month. Silver Bay is the obvious choice to fill second spot; he has shaped with a hint of promise in two runs over fences and on the figures he is entitled to chase the favourite home with this better ground in his favour. However this looks a straight-forward opportunity for Junior to break his duck over fences.
