Verdict

Pauline Robson’s chasers are usually worth a second look here but Katgary hasn’t raced since winning on fast going at Perth last June. The Grey Taylor was out of sorts in the autumn and is another returning from a break while Bright New Dawn hasn’t been finishing off his races since joining Venetia Williams. Workbench is essentially a good ground performer but should strip fitter for a comeback run over hurdles and finished well ahead of Theatre Flame on identical terms at Fontwell in September. SAN BENEDETO may not be one of his stable’s star inmates but he wins his fair share. He’s coping well with a busy campaign and was impressive dropping back to this trip at Musselburgh so is taken to follow up.
