Verdict

Front-runners generally do well on the chase course here and FRIZZO could run the finish out his rivals if Richard Johnson gets him into a rhythm. He's only a couple of pounds higher than his last winning mark. Oscar O'scar bids to follow up last week's easy Sedgefield victory under a penalty but steps up a grade for this. Rear Admiral can't be ignored and Midnight Monty has more scope than most. Queen Spud should also have learned plenty from her fencing bow at Bangor but hasn't raced since November. Azert De Coeur went close at Wetherby in January but fell next time and was soon beaten on his latest start.
