SIDE GLANCE took a step forward last year and won his first Group race at Salisbury in August. Andrew Balding's charge is a few lengths ahead of today's opposition on official ratings and may not have to be at his best on his return to land this. 2010 Lincoln winner Penitent needed a conditions race in soft ground at Hamilton to get his head in front last year and Questioning showed better progress, ending the year with a third to Bubble Chic in a Group 3 at Newmarket.
