In depth

Verdict

As is often the case in bumpers there is not a lot of form for backers to go on and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Another Moment, who is preferred to Doeslessthanme and Honest John. The last mentioned is more flat bred than most of these and a market more for Tom Tate's gelding would be of interest. Ferdy Murphy's Percutant is bred for jumping and could be of interest on his debut as could stable companion Generous Park. Sue Smith's Classic Cliche gelding Gershwinner is another newcomer worthy of a mention, while Doeslessthanme has the best form among those to have raced previously but he may struggle under his penalty incurred for his Musselburgh debut success. The vote then goes to Alan Swinbank's Another Moment, who is bred more for the level than jumps and may be too speedy for his rivals on this surface.
