Verdict

This has been won by the likes of Azamour, Sea The Stars and St Nicholas Abbey in recent years. Aidan O'Brien has won the last two and saddles Oklahoma City and Geoffrey Chaucer with Joseph taking the ride on the latter despite Seamie Heffernan's mount looking to have the stronger form. Geoffrey Chaucer just pipped Tarfasha on his debut at Leopardstown in July and the runner-up is expected to go well in the fillies' Group 3 earlier. Johnny Murtagh looks to have a nice type on his hands in Altruistic, who impressed with an easy success at Naas, but the form pick has to be EXOGENESIS, who escapes a penalty for his victory at this level at Leopardstown and didn't run badly behind War Command in the Group 2 Futurity Stakes here last month.
