Local Flier has gone up an incredible 15lb for her easy victory over this trip at Leopardstown which makes this much more difficult. Another three-year-old, Masai, has been running better than form figures suggest and is no forlorn hope to get back on the winning trail but the vote in a wide open contest goes to ELUSIVE ICE, who was having only his fifth start when beating Big Bad Lily here a fortnight ago. Greek Canyon was gaining his eighth victory in 26 starts at Fairyhouse and with just a 2lb rise to contend with has to be on the shortlist along with Tyerly Wonder. who was a short-head behind him here in October.
