In depth

Verdict

Several of these ran in a very competitive handicap won by Treble Cone at Leopardstown a week ago. The winner was brought with a well-timed effort to pass Passing Trade close home with the favourite Mulzamm back in fourth. The latter missed the break and had to come wide and with Rory Cleary taking over from an apprentice can reverse the places. However, lurking at the bottom of the weights is the lightly-raced STELLAIRE ENFANT, who showed a bit of potential in two runs here in August and reappeared with a fine effort in a big field of handicappers over 7f on the track. She's 3lb out of the handicap but Andy Slattery's claim takes care of that and she can gain her first victory. Encantadour has been running well but is 0-17 which doesn't aid his cause.
