Verdict

A brother to four winners including the Epsom Oaks heroine Was, the 1.3 million gns purchase Amhran Na Bhfiann has every chance of developing into a high-class prospect but Ryan Moore prefers the once-raced CABOT HILLS on this occasion. The Gleneagles colt is a half-brother to September and already has the makings of a smart juvenile having been given a very gentle introduction at Leopardstown. Persian also represents Ballydoyle while Agitare is another who was second on debut at Leopardstown and was only beaten a short-head. Degraves and Sinawann are other likely improvers. Gold Maze is by Golden Horn so should pay his way over middle-distances next year.
