Verdict

Jim Bolger has won four of the last ten of the Turf season's opener and Intensely Focussed is likely to attract support, despite his dam being from a middle-distance family. Kevin Prendergast has won this twice in recent years and Tawaleef will be tuned up while the filly Tilly Trotter is out of a mare who scored over the minimum trip. Terrific Feeling is a half-brother to two 6f winners so should have enough pace but a chance is taken on BECTIVE. Jonny Levins' charge is out of a mare who has already produced nine winners and his in-form trainer knows how to get one ready.
