Verdict

After a winning reappearance at Dundalk, Celerina has run excellent races at Ayr and York and should go well despite a big leap in the weights. Cheviot is having his first ever start over the minimum trip but should be suited as he was only headed in the closing stages by Six Of Hearts over 6f here last month and is only 2lb higher. Tim Easterby's horses have been in superb form all season and the Yorkshire handler has a rare runner in a handicap here with CONFESSIONAL, who has a chance second-to-none on his close second to stablemate Captain Dunne in the Dash at Epsom and can make the long journey pay. Fellow raider Captain Carey shouldn't be dismissed as he's capable of a big run while Johnny Murtagh should get a tune out of The Reaper, who has been in fine form over 6f recently and was caught right on the line by Patrickswell at Navan.
