A low-grade handicap in which CRASSUS can finally get off the mark on the Flat. A winning hurdler, he hasn't been beaten far in any of his starts this summer and deserves a change of luck. Colin Keane rides him rather than Franno, on whom he scored at Bellewstown in July, though Sam Ewing also rode him to victory at Fairyhouse a few days later. Easily has yet to win but is getting closer while Stellify's only success came over the course and distance last November. Spruce Meadows hasn't won for over two years but is gradually dropping to a winnable mark while Dammit would have a chance on the balance of his form though he's yet to win.
