After showing some promise in decent company, Webcast landed a claimer at Down Royal where he had subsequent dual winner Knock Stars in second. Although receiving 10lbs from the runner-up it was still a smart effort and more progress is expected. THEGONDOLIER also has a victory over Knock Stars to his credit, beating her a short-head at Sligo in August when receiving just 1lb. Today's weights suggest he has the beating of Webcast and he can take this. Forcing tactics brought the best out of Bendzoldan when she gained a surprise victory over Brookley Lady at Fairyhouse and, as a 4lbs rise doesn't appear excessive, she can get involved here. The consistent Jambalaya is also a contender in what looks a wide-open nursery.
