Verdict

CAPE OF GOOD HOPE, a full-brother to the brilliant Highland Reel, finished mid-division on his debut at Leopardstown but that will have blown the cobwebs away and he can improve enough to take this. Aidan O'Brien also runs Mohawk, by Galileo out of a 6f Group 3 winner, and Whitsunday Islands, from the first crop of Australia out of an unraced mare from the family of Arc winner Treve. Motashakel finished just in front of the selection at Leopardstown and will also have come on a bundle for the experience while Vocatus will be better suited by this trip after two runs over shorter.
