In depth

Verdict

Thieving Gypsy has been a big disappointment since her excellent debut behind Bullock Harbour at Punchestown and is best watched for now. Katesgem is certain to attract support under Katie Walsh after her fine debut behind The Mighty Whitey at Sligo. VALLEYMOUNT, who finished runner-up to Spanish Treasure in a huge field at Punchestown in April, contested a much better race at the Curragh on his only subsequent start and though finishing in mid-division she did enough to suggest this is her grade and she can land this under the in-form Mikey Fogarty. Nina Carberry's mount Quiet Thoughts looks an obvious threat after her three good efforts in the spring.
