In depth

Verdict

MOSSEY JOE was in tremendous form last spring and reappeared with a very easy success between the flags last month. He started a short-priced favourite for the Aintree Fox Hunters but couldn't cope with Warne and Tartan Snow, eventually trailing in around 17l back in third place. This is much easier, though he has a big weight and the concession of 8lb to Ferris Bueller may not prove easy as Colin Bowe's charge has some decent form under Rules to his credit. The once very useful Loosen My Load is a light of other days as is the prolific point-to-point winner Annacarton but the youngster Cobblers Hill is one to keep an eye on for Tony Martin. Capal Dubh Alainn landed an open point-to-point at Kilworth last time and is worth a look in the betting.
