In depth

Verdict

Winning bumper and hurdler Final List was beaten a long way on his chasing bow at Galway and, though certain to improve, has a lot of ground to make up. DEMAIN DES L'AUBE had some smart form over hurdles in France and is in the right hands to make a career out of chasing so gets the nod over Dream Conti, who beat a big field in a Naas maiden hurdle in January but didn't build on that. Ask And Answer will be better for his run behind the potentially-useful Daly Tiger at Tipperary while Salty Boy was in cracking form over hurdles at the back-end of last year and looks a chasing type.
