Verdict

ABSTRACTION has been narrowly beaten in Listed company over this trip on several occasions and though he hasn't won for almost three years this looks his opportunity. He had The Happy Prince behind when a close third to Fort Del Oro at Naas last month and the latter is better over further. Toscanini had a couple of runs in Dubai earlier this year and though he's a genuine Group-class performer he's another who would prefer an extra furlong. Ardhoomey has won handicaps at Dundalk and Navan since returning from a winter break and is still progressing and though Chapter One hasn't shown much this shorter trip quicker ground can bring some improvement. The filly Dikta Del Mar has speed to burn and any rain would aid her cause though she hasn't run since September.
