In depth

Verdict

Leigh Roche will ensure Mrs Batt gets a good ride but she's only been running moderately on Polytrack this winter. Dearest gained her first success over 1m4f at Sligo so it's a surprise to see her racing over today's trip while Noble Call also looks as though he needs further. UK import Zafaraan ran a shocker at Dundalk on Wednesday and can hardly be supported on that evidence so a chance is taken on LEGENDARY TIMES, a winner on good ground over the trip at Gowran in August who didn't have conditions in his favour on his last three outings in the autumn. Empress Of Rome makes her handicap debut but hasn't shown much to date.
