In depth

Verdict

Croisultan was having his first run for Dermot Weld when scoring at the Curragh a fortnight ago but generally enjoys some cut in the ground which he is unlikely to get here. Six Of Hearts, who finished a close fourth, prefers quicker going and can turn the tables with conditions in his favour. There were five runners in the race won by Timeless Call at Dundalk and they all go here. Katia, Balmont Mast, Celerina and Santo Padre were all close enough to reverse the form in this bigger field on turf with Celerina the most likely of the quintet to improve enough to land this. But THE REAPER ran two superb races in defeat at Meydan in January and, as he improved throughout last season, can make further progress and take this.
