Bonifacio finished behind Knockieran and Kirbybroguelantern at Limerick before scoring over a slightly shorter trip here three weeks ago. The winner was attempting a hat-trick over slightly further at Galway later and and ran well until running out of steam close home. Dapper Dan was making his handicap debut when a fine second to Boland's Corner at Limerick and gets onto the short-list but it's NAMARAMA who is given the nod. John Queally's charge had shown very little before stepping up to 2m7f at Navan where he attracted good support and was right there at the last flight. He's still at the right end of the handicap and may prove just too good for Black Mac, whose third behind Noras Fancy at Clonmel has been boosted by the runner-up.
