Hangar Five went up 7lb for his victory at Ballinrobe and couldn't quite cope on a subsequent run at Wexford though he ran well. He had Aussie Guest behind in the first of those races but the latter should get much closer on the revised terms. However, the one to take from the race was ROCK N ROVER, who was beaten four lengths on his first start in over a year. He should be cherry-ripe for this and can gain his first victory. Calle Aneto landed a little race at Sligo but then ran poorly when strongly fancied at Limerick while Shutter Island was a big disappointment when favourite at Tipperary after scoring over hurdles previously.
