Lady Marengo was always in the firing line when scoring over an extended 5f at Navan and stayed on strongly. She's making her nursery debut under a big weight while So Familiar, beaten a short-head over the minimum at Naas, was receiving a stone from the winner. JARROCHO, who finished third in that latter event, was slowly away but made strong late headway and with the longer trip certain to suit looks the one to be on. Chernish was only beaten a short-head in a Naas claimer but was earlier behind Dancing Mountain on the same track though the latter has been well beaten at Fairyhouse subsequently.
