Helvelius won this a year ago from a 4lb lower mark and though he's been in poor form he was going just as badly last year. Clonsilla Affairs is well handicapped at his best though a longer trip would have been better so its MOUNT WELCOME who is given the nod. Paul Rothwell's charge scored over the C&D on fast ground early last month and though beaten twice since they were over fences and his young rider can claim his 7lb allowance. Dont Tell Pa ran easily his best race to date when just touched off by The Gnathologist at Tramore but that was on soft ground and he hasn't proved himself in these quicker conditions. Orange Touch has won just once in 30 starts over timber but the veteran is well in at the weights and will enjoy the fast conditions.
