In depth

Verdict

Bleu Berry won a bumper in the French Provinces and made his debut for Willie Mullins in a Listed bumper at Newbury but never showed. He'll do better over timber but ALAMEIN may just have the call this time. Mouse Morris' charge has been carrying penalties for his bumper victory and has come up against a couple of smart rivals. He found 2m4f stretching his stamina at Gowran and back over the minimum trip can get off the mark. Timing'severything started off with a bumper victory then made a very promising hurdling debut at Tipperary. He's been disappointing subsequently though probably found the going too testing last time. Winning point-to-pointer Call Vinnie showed early promise in bumpers and will be better for his spin over hurdles at Down Royal in February.
