Thirteen of the 18 runners have been in action over jumps including Formal Bid, whose one run over timber at Naas last month was followed by a surprise victory over this trip at Dundalk. He's young enough to make further progress and should get involved as should Magical Memoir despite a long absence as she was beginning to make her mark in juvenile hurdles last autumn. FEARNWOOD GIRL is another returning from a break and though still a maiden on the Flat she arrives here on a very lowly mark and definitely improved over timber last year. This may not take as much winning as first appears and she can take this under Christy Hayes. Whitehead Lad was behind Formal Bid at Dundalk but his best efforts have come on fast ground and he can probably do better.
