Rock On Barney gained his only victory in 28 starts over this track and trip in January but is on an 8lb higher mark. Cottonvale has never won but has gone close on several occasions, including at Tipperary last week, while Bailey Sunset ran his best race for some time at Down Royal and can race from the same mark. DUNDEEDY LAD is lightly-raced and still a maiden but signalled an imminent victory with a very good run over 2m7f on heavy going at Thurles. His rider's claim is a massive bonus and Robert Tyner's charge can get off the mark. Stoughan Cross is better over fences but reverts to hurdles on a 23lb lower mark so is one to note.
