Verdict

TRANQUIL SEA won this a year ago and has a Grade 1 penalty for his subsequent success in the John Durkan. His form tailed off in the spring but he has a superb record when fresh and can complete the double. Psycho has won five of his 11 starts over fences including a Grade 3 but his overall form falls short of that of Edward O'Grady's charge. Tharawaat was a very good novice who made a successful start to handicapping at Galway last month. He has something to find on official ratings but is the youngest of these by some margin and can make further progress. Leanne is a decent enough performer at her own level but looks outclassed.
