Verdict

Brog Ahaon has been inconsistent over timber but produced one of his better efforts behind Archer's Up at Limerick last week. Celebrity Status was well supported over fences at Killarney last month though ran a shocker but Henry De Bromhead won this a year ago and EXCEEDED BRIEF can follow suit. Beaten just a neck at Thurles in November, he was up against much better opposition that this at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day and has more scope than most of these. The Abbey has shown potential in bumpers and moved to Gordon Elliott so could provide the main threat.
