In depth

Verdict

Captain Carleton has a hood added to his usual tongue tie in an attempt to end a frustrating run of placed efforts but may come up short again. ALILEO finished six lengths behind Cormac Farrell's charge at Kilbeggan last month and isn't an easy ride. But the Mullins' novice has the stronger overall form and is fancied to turn the tables today if back on his best behaviour. Ballinrobe third Kilcaragh Boy looks to have plenty to find on these terms but Aussie Guest should have learned from his fourth at Listowel and Castle Bay Sling has won five times on the Flat, though is already a nine-year-old.
