In depth

Verdict

The filly Golanedge gets plenty of allowances and will have come on for her debut behind Heck Thomas at Punchestown. Top Othe Ra showed improvement from his opening run when not beaten far at Cork and should make further progress while Bell Weir showed a bit of promise at Roscommon last time and could be suited by today's quicker conditions. Noel Meade has been introducing some smart newcomers this campaign so Bose Ikard has to be respected but JUBILEE YEAR made a nice debut behind Blacklough at Killarney in May and with that experience under his belt he can return to action with a victory.
