In depth

Verdict

TAMAYEF is getting closer to winning a handicap and just missed out in soft going at Yarmouth last time. Hugo Palmer’s charge should make a bold bid with an apprentice taking 5lb off his back. Desert Dream may well improve for the longer trip after disappointing at Musselburgh and Reverend Jacobs is another to note stepping up in distance for his handicap debut. Glenys The Menace, Alexander M and Metronomic won their latest starts over 1m2f but all are upped in class off higher marks today.
