In depth

Verdict

Saristar and Latin Review look the ones to be siding with against the much-exposed Cape Trafalgar. Cape Trafalgar has done little wrong this term and has taken four races for connections. Kevin Darley has been booked but there is perhaps the suspicion that the horse has had plenty enough use made of her this term and we will look elsewhere. Latin Review finished infront of her in the Listed St Hugh's Stakes at Newbury. There is no reason to suggest that the form can be overturned with Alan Jarvis' charge and with Fallon aboard - she is likely to be among the market leaders today. Noyac is dropped in class following a run down the field in the Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes. She will need to be on top form to defy her penalty here. Saristar does have a couple of pounds to find on the book but it is likely that she is open to more improvement we duly select her. She beat a well regarded type at Chepstow on her second start and the step up to six furlongs appears unlikely to inconvenience.
