Verdict

Richard Hannon posted a 100% strike-rate with his juveniles at Chester last year and he can get off the mark for this season with ROYAL CONNECTION. Her dam appreciated fast ground and stayed much further than this so there's every reason to believe that she is capable of building upon two promising outings at Goodwood. Heskin has been well supported on her three runs thus far and is likely to go well from a favourable draw. Alan Bailey's yard have gone close with a number of their runners lately so don't rule out Mimi Luke as she showed enough at Windsor to suggest that she is up to winning a small race. Franny Norton has selected Dry Your Eyes of the Mark Johnston pair and the market is watched accordingly about the well-bred debutant.
