      Verdict

      Iconic Belle’s winning run came to an end at Thirsk 11 days ago and she may be in the handicapper’s grip now, though has won over this trip. Speedo Boy finished fourth in the Chester Cup consolation here last month and was just touched off over 1m6f at Goodwood last time. He looks a better bet than stablemate Arabist while Desert Friend has claims if transferring all-weather form back to Turf, though he probably wouldn’t want any rain. CALL MY BLUFF has done all of his winning so far at a lower level but he’s been on an upward curve for a while so gets the nod.
