    Verdict

St Mary's is a course and distance winner but remains 7lb higher while Piedita is 8lb higher than when landing a double over 2m last year. Notice and River Icon look high enough in the handicap and winning hurdler Our Kylie was expected to finish a lot closer in a lower grade contest over 1m6f at Doncaster last time when CAPE LIBERTY won by over four lengths. The latter has been beaten over the same distance subsequently but this extra test of stamina should suit and Franny Norton’s presence in the saddle is another positive.
