In depth

Verdict

MANSHAA attempted to make all over a mile at Newmarket last time but floundered close home in the soft ground. This faster surface and shorter trip can see him off the mark. Gabrial The Viking handled the track when third over course and distance on his debut and makes more appeal than Felix De Vega and the frustrating Vegas Rebel. Cosmic Ray was still well beaten when runner-up at Brighton and this is tougher.
