Verdict

Only four runners go to post for this contest but it looks quite competitive and Maraahel is preferred to Blue Bajan and Hattan. The selection is a course and distance winner and he confirmed his well-being when beating Mighty at Newbury last month. He has ground conditions to suit and from the plum draw he looks to have outstanding claims. Blue Bajan rates the main danger as he won well when last seen out at Epsom when beating Charlie Tokyo. He is a progressive sort and he should go well despite being drawn on the outside. Hattan won the Ripon Silver Bowl when beating Championship Point last time when he made-all, but he will struggle to get an uncontested lead today and on that basis we will take him on. It will be a surprise if Ivy Creek is good enough and we will stick with the progressive Maraahel to land the prize.
