Dr Red Eye won this for Scott Dixon a year ago then followed up on the track a couple of weeks later. He's been in nowhere near that kind of form recently but has slipped back to a fair mark. Richard Fahey scored in 2012 and is represented by Gabrial's Bounty, having his first start for almost two years, and Gatepost who has a touch of quality but has never really run well on the track. Jubilee Brig has been in tremendous form on the all-weather though has never won on Turf but Verse Of Love is only 2lb higher than when successful here last summer. Pat Shanahan's Dancing Cosmos has only ever won on Polytrack but KING OF EDEN is going for his 10th victory overall and has won from higher marks so is handed the verdict in a tricky event. Related has only won once but is relatively lightly raced and is well drawn.
