Verdict

The draw is a big negative for Balaagha, so we will take a chance and side with MISS TANGO HOTEL who can also get the better of Massilah. With a number of the fancied runners drawn out wide in this contest, Miss Tango Hotel can make her low draw count. This daughter of Green Desert hails from a yard in good order and she showed improved form to chase home Greensward at Newmarket back in July. She likes to race prominently so this track should suit and she can land the prize. Balaagha showed she had trained-on when showing improved form on her return to action at Newmarket last month. She was slowly away that day but she really found a stride in the closing stages. If similar tactics are employed here from her high draw she will need the gaps to appear and she is not one to be lumping on at a short price. Barry Hills is in good form and he has already enjoyed success at Chester this week, so Massilah has to be considered. She shaped with promise on her debut when she was the subject of strong market support and if she can build on that then she can go close. However, her draw in stall 9 will mean she will need some luck to score. Bella Rowena hinted at ability last season but she has an absence to overcome and she is another that has a wide draw to contend with. There are no such worries for Miss Tango Hotel who looks the value call.
