A good race in prospect but as ever the draw will come into play so we will choose to oppose Paradise Isle and Racer Forever with Indian Maiden. Malcolm Saunders' mare won this race last year and she comes back to Chester following a success in the listed Mimosa Stakes at Leopardstown. There is a cogent argument to suggest that she is better with some cut in the ground but she has a reasonable draw and more importantly she handles the track. Paradise Isle is in flying form but the car park draw does not impress. Third in a Group 3 at York to La Chunga, she has obvious form book claims although Kevin Darley will need to use every ounce of his tactical nous to secure a decent position from the gate. Racer Forever looks progressive and he could not be crabbed for taking a listed prize at Epsom. Backers should expect to see him settled in mid-division early. Mr Wolf landed a handicap at Pontefract last Sunday and can be expected to blaze a trail from box four. Beckermet is a long losing run but does seem to reserve his better races for this circuit. Ooh Aah Camara is another to have proven form around Chester but is badly drawn. Master Plasta has ability although he has yet to conclusively prove that he has trained on. The Kiddykid is watched in the market. Indian Maiden would have it to do on official figures but the likable mare is in good nick and secures our selection.
