      Verdict

      Kachy won the Molecomb at Goodwood last summer and it's no surprise to see him back over 5f having failed to see out 7f in the European Free Handicap at Newmarket last month. El Astronaute has a win and second to his name over course and distance but looks high enough in the weights now. Mont Kiara is tackling the minimum trip for the first time but there are possibilities about Gracious John, who rarely runs a bad race, and Dundalk winner Birdcage. RIFLESCOPE (NAP) finished behind El Astronaute and Powerallied here in September but missed the break that day and is better off with both of his old rivals at the weights. He won a Listed race at Sandown last July and was also fourth in the Norfolk Stakes at Ascot – he could take all the beating if back in that kind of form.
