Jabbaar won over track and trip back in May but remains 7lb higher and was well beaten when third here last time. Gabrial's King is a course regular and was beaten less than a length over a longer trip here last week while Gossip Column won over a shorter trip at the track in June but finished behind runner-up BERKSHIRE ROYAL at Ascot last month. Andrew Balding’s charge won over course and distance before that and can effectively race off the same mark today with an apprentice’s allowance taken into account. Silver Character has only won on the all-weather so far though is still preferred to Zihaam.
