Sean Kirrane steered Hyperfocus to victory at Ripon in April but the top weight is having his first start since. Aberama Gold beat Cuban Breeze at Wolverhampton last month and followed up at Hamilton. Paws For Thought and Roman Dragon are course specialists with the latter having the better draw of that pair, though he spurned an easier opportunity here two weeks ago. It’s two years since WHENTHEDEALINSDONE last ran over this trip but he has been getting outpaced over 5f so the time looks right for a step-up. Princess Shabnam has been highly tried this year so may be best of the rest.
