Linda Green lost no caste in defeat behind stablemate Digital at Bath last time and is taken to make amends for his defeat there in a race where the opposition looks to be thin on the ground with Cerulean Rose and Bobby Rose rated the main dangers. The selection is proven with cut in the ground and remains feasibly well treated. Zazous ran better than expected behind Cashel Mead at Goodwood last time and would have claims if able to reproduce that effort off a 3lb lower mark. Beneking could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Oneiro Way has yet to prove his effectiveness on a soft surface. A market move for Word Perfect would be of interest, while Arian's Lad remains a maiden and is likely to find at least one too good again. Cerulean Rose has claims on the evidence of his latest effort behind Balakiref under testing conditions at Haydock and rates a bigger threat than Bobby Rose, who is proving to be difficult to win with. Linda Green has solid form on the surface though and she gets the vote.
