Verdict

Wahoo Sam is one to watch in the betting however BUFFALO STAMPEDE's recent fourth behind the classy Ainama sets the standard and he gets the vote accordingly. Although he will be handicapped after this run, it would be unwise to think that Buffalo Stampede will not get competitive today. This son of Accordion caught the eye when staying on last time at Kempton and with the emphasis on stamina today, a big run looks on the cards. Ski Sunday has shown ability and should not be ignored despite a heavy tumble last time whilst Wahoo Sam is rated in the 60's on the flat and although he is a late-comer to hurdles, a market move would look significant. Tom George has three in the line-up and it will be interesting to see how they move in the betting; on paper his best chance looks to be the former point-to-point winner Traffic Control who wasn't disgraced behind Mad Max last time but the drop in trip may not be ideal for this three mile winner. At a price Rudie Finn could run well on his hurdling bow, however it is Buffalo Stampede who can run his rivals into the ground.
