      Verdict

The speed looks to be with the low numbers here, and we will take La Fanciulla to score from Wizby and The City Kid. The selection acts with cut although she has never run on ground this soft before. A Salisbury 7f winner last time, she drops back in trip here but should not be unduly inconvenienced and can take the prize. Wizby is drawn alongside and was a c&d winner here last season in a seller. This is a bit tougher but she did handle cut well enough last time here and albeit moderate, her best form entitles her to respect. The City Kid has to shoulder to weight but she handled heavy ground well at Nottingham last year and loves the trip so is not dismissed lightly, but preference in the finale is for La Fanciulla.
