Star Ascending has been in excellent form on Fibresand and Tapeta and though 7lb higher than his last victory still looks capable of a big run from this mark. MAY BE SOME TIME won a similar handicap to this last May and reappeared after a break to finish a close second over hurdles last month so looks the one to be on. Kawartha landed a Lingfield maiden over the trip in February before finding two miles beyond here on a return visit earlier this month and makes her debut on Turf. The well-bred Forecast started off in France where he didn't show much and was well beaten on his UK debut at Kempton though that was over 7f. Opera Lad won a maiden over this trip last February and then raced over further where he didn't appear to stay.
