Anamarka is a tentative choice in a tricky looking maiden, La Columbina and Green Earings could be the main dangers. A few years ago Henry Candy was always popping up with juvenile debutante winners and there are signs that the stable is on the way back to form. Anamarka is a well bred daughter of Mark Of Esteem and is related to numerous winners in Germany. the market will give vital clues but we will take a chance without that evidence and give her the tentative vote. La Columbina stepped up on her debut to finish an excellent third behind Jedediah at Sandown and looks capable of more improvement. Meanwhile Green Earings showed plenty of promise on her debut in a decent contest and she has to be considered for the places. Shaama Rose is another interesting newcomer, but we will side with another debutante in Anamarka.
